Conventional systems require a lot of attention from the driver, especially with large working widths. The Geringhoff TruFlex Razor with the integrated air system (IAS) is unique because the air control system is completely integrated into the flexible frame and the air flow constantly exits the knife bar. Conventional air systems work with a piping system that is rigidly attached in front of the reel and intervenes in the inventory. This can lead to the loss of the grains if the ripe crop is touched. Such systems cannot be used in rapeseed because it cannot be managed through the narrow crop.

The controlled air outlet on the cutter bar has the advantage that falling grains are directed onto the cutting unit and they can no longer roll down from the cutting unit.

Due to the air system fully integrated into the flexible frame and cutter bar, active loss reduction is possible even when guided close to the ground, thereby optimizing the harvest of stored grain and soy.
