2024 Amazone Venterra 12x50 cm

The Venterra combines an unrivalled passage with a maximised lift height of the parallelograms of almost 50 cm, which opens up new possibilities for mechanical weed control, even in very tall crops. As a result, damage-free hoeing right to the end is possible for crops with a height up to a metre, even when driving onto the headland, thanks to the interaction with Section Control, thanks to the high frame transition combined with the parallelogram KPP-LSC.

When designing the new Venterra rail, particular attention was paid to its stability and flexibility. The rails are built up at two levels from 4.5 m and above, with these two levels overlapping. This makes it possible for one rail to accommodate all row widths. This gives the customer flexibility in the event of changing operating conditions. In addition, front-accessible clamping of the parallelograms has been provided so that they can also be adapted to different row widths.

The compact design of the Venterra reduces the required front ballasting of the towing vehicle and offers the customer full flexibility for changing operating conditions. The distance between the rear parallelograms and the lower links has been further reduced.

A higher version of the combination parallelogram has been developed for the Venterra. Together with the new rail, a passage of up to one metre can be achieved. This extends the time window available for use and thus improves the utilisation of the Venterra 2K. Late weeds can be effectively controlled by hoeing late in tall crops.

New standards in hoeing are set by the individual parallelogram lift of up to 50 cm. The strengths of the system are demonstrated in the headland by damage-free hoeing of sensitive crops and tall plants.
